About Jeff Johnson
Jeff grew up in Carstairs Alberta and graduated from high school in 1995. He then studied Kinesiology at the University of Alberta, where he met his lovely wife Jenny. After the Kinesiology Degree Jeff attended Nait for technical training and then returned to the University of Alberta for a Bachelor of Education Degree. During this time Jeff got started in excavation work during the summers with Jenny’s Dad who is also an excavation contractor on Vancouver Island. Jeff has now been running equipment for 20 years!
Jeff worked as a shop teacher in Didsbury for 5 years after university, but felt a desire to do more with excavation. So in 2007 Jeff and Jenny bought a backhoe, became a certified septic installer with the Alberta Onsite Wastewater Management Association and started installing septic systems. Since then the company has grown, we have a variety of equipment and can handle any residential excavation job. We now have over 200 septic projects in our history. We have trenched countless water and power lines, dug many basements, and hauled lots of gravel. We have remained a small owner operated type company so the quality of our work continues to be top notch. Rest assured that when you hire us you have hired experience and excellence!
